Celebrating science, diving safety and a remarkable EUBS50.

We are proud to announce that the Albert A. Bühlmann Prize, presented for the first time at EUBS50 in Geneva, was awarded to Dr. Jean-Pierre Imbert for his outstanding study in the field of barometric medicine.

The Prize was created to honour the scientific legacy of Prof. Albert A. Bühlmann and, above all, to recognize those who continue to advance knowledge, research and safety in diving and hyperbaric medicine today.

Jean-Pierre Imbert was selected by the Albert A. Bühlmann Prize Jury, chaired by Prof. Alessandro Marroni, founder of DAN Europe, together with jury members Dr. Bengusu Mirasoglu, President of EUBS, Thomas Bühlmann, son of Prof. Albert A. Bühlmann, and Guido Benedini, CEO of Bühlmann Watches.

Our warmest congratulations to Jean-Pierre Imbert on this well-deserved recognition.

EUBS50 was a very special experience for all of us at Bühlmann Watches. Beyond the science, lectures and discussions, we felt part of a community united by a common purpose: making diving safer through knowledge, research and education.

We are proud to support that mission and to help carry Albert Bühlmann’s legacy forward into a new generation.

Thank you to EUBS and to everyone who made EUBS50 such a memorable gathering.

We look forward to continuing the journey and to EUBS51.
